What is special about our Lewis chairs?
Our Scandinavian retro chair "Lewis" follows the example of its original design and offers quality in material, clarity in form and reliability in seating comfort. arne Jacobsen designed the POT CHAIR for the Hotel Royal in Copenhagen in 1959. And wherever the chair was placed, whether in the conservatory, in the bar, next to the lift or on each floor, it became a popular meeting place for extended conversations.
The high-quality faux leather upholstery in the warm earthy colours of brown, dark grey and green is robust and easy to clean and also gives the chair class and a flair of conviviality and belonging.
The ergonomically shaped seat shell made of flawless polypropylene is equipped with 2 cm thick foam padding with a firmness of 32, so that you can actually sit comfortably on it for hours.
The powder-coated metal frame in a geometric design guarantees stability and a really high load-bearing capacity of up to 250 kg.
The plastic glides on the feet ensure that the chairs stand securely and can be moved without scratching. We recommend felt glides for tiles. These are not included
